Cleared after expiry
Addresses and messages expire on a countdown; renewing them postpones cleanup of the same mailbox.
Privacy Policy · Updated September 23, 2026
This policy explains what EmailPut processes during disposable email use, long-term forwarding, and security verification, how long data is retained, and how you can exercise control.
Addresses and messages expire on a countdown; renewing them postpones cleanup of the same mailbox.
We retain the subject, sender, status, and message body to verify delivery, then delete them automatically.
Your login email is used to send verification codes, identify sessions, and handle security notifications.
Aliases, archives, and two-step verification can each be managed from the dashboard.
| Data category | Purpose | Typical retention | Your choices |
|---|---|---|---|
| Temporary address and email | Display the inbox and read messages | Until the countdown ends | Extend, replace, or delete early |
| Forwarding alias and archive | Forward messages and verify delivery | While the alias exists; emails for 30 days | Pause or delete the alias and records |
| Login email and session | Send verification codes and keep you signed in | While the account exists or until the session ends | Log out or request deletion |
| Security and error logs | Rate limiting, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting | Normally no more than 30 days | Ask about the processing scope |
This policy applies to disposable email, long-term forwarding, code-based login, and related support services on emailput.com. How third-party sending platforms handle data is governed by their own rules; we make no promises on their behalf.
When you submit an EmailPut address to a third party, that party will know the address and may record the interaction. Review its privacy notice before submitting, especially for payments, identity verification, or important accounts.
Disposable email requires us to process random addresses, mailbox tokens, expiry times, and the subject, sender information, and body of messages delivered to the address. Long-term forwarding also requires a login email, created aliases, delivery status, and security settings.
Our servers generate necessary request times, error types, approximate network information, and device security signals to prevent automated abuse and diagnose problems. We do not build cross-site browsing profiles to sell advertising audiences.
We process this data to create mailboxes, receive and display messages, extend availability, forward incoming mail, and delete content when you ask us to. The login email and verification codes confirm control, while two-step verification information improves account security.
Security logs support rate limiting, detection of unusual requests, and service recovery. Aggregated, non-identifying metrics may help assess reliability, but we do not use message bodies to train public-facing advertising profiles.
Every disposable mailbox has a visible countdown. Renewing it before expiry extends the address and messages’ availability; replacing the address or destroying it makes the old token unusable.
Cleanup tasks may need a brief technical processing window, but expired content will no longer appear as an available inbox. Do not rely on disposable email to store a sole copy or long-term account-recovery credentials.
A forwarding alias remains active until you pause it, delete it, or close your account. To help verify delivery, forwarding records are typically kept for 30 days and show the subject, sender, time, status, and message body.
Deleting an alias stops future forwarding through that entry, but does not require third parties to delete an address they have already stored. Deleting an archived message affects only the copy in EmailPut, not copies delivered to the destination mailbox.
This site uses local storage to save disposable mailbox tokens, addresses, expiry times, and login sessions, so you can continue your current task after refreshing the page. These technologies are essential to core features, not cross-site advertising trackers.
You can clear this data through your browser, but doing so may prevent you from returning to the original disposable mailbox. Logging out of the dashboard removes the login token and returns the page to the email verification step.
We share only the data necessary to complete tasks with providers needed for hosting, email delivery, security monitoring, and customer support. Providers must protect data under contract and may not sell it or use it for unrelated advertising.
We may disclose limited information when legally required, to protect user safety, or to investigate clear abuse. Unless prohibited by law, we will review the scope of requests where possible and avoid excessive disclosure.
Our infrastructure may process data outside your region, using applicable transfer safeguards and data-minimization principles. Data transfers use encrypted connections; sensitive actions require a valid token and may require confirmation through a phone authenticator.
No online service can promise absolute security. Do not use disposable email for recovery information from banks, governments, healthcare providers, or irreplaceable accounts, and report suspicious activity promptly.
EmailPut is intended for ordinary internet users who can understand how email and this policy work; it is not directed at children. If a guardian believes a child provided personal information without consent, they can contact us for assistance.
This service is not suitable as the sole channel for emergency notices, legal service, medical information, or critical business records. For high-risk tasks, use an email account with lasting control and complete recovery options.
You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of data associated with your login email, and you may object to or restrict specific processing. For actions available in the dashboard, we recommend doing them directly for immediate results.
To prevent someone else from claiming your data, we may ask you to verify your identity again through the login email. Legal rights vary by region, but we will explain the outcome and why a request cannot be fulfilled.
When service features, legal requirements, or infrastructure change substantially, we will update this policy and revise the date at the top of the page. Significant changes will be announced prominently on the site or through the login email, rather than silently expanding our purposes.
Updated rules take effect on the stated date. If you disagree with a change, stop using disposable email and delete aliases and related data in the dashboard.
For privacy questions, data requests, or security reports, email support@emailput.com. To help us locate your request, say whether it concerns disposable email or long-term forwarding, but do not paste sensitive message content or complete verification codes into ordinary email.
We will confirm receipt and respond within the period required by applicable law. Complex requests, or those that may affect other people’s rights, may require additional verification and processing time.
