When to use disposable email and when tokeep an alias
The key question isn’t whether you can receive the message, but how long the relationship will last. Use a temporary address for one-time verification, a dedicated alias for ongoing notifications, and an inbox you control long term for important accounts.
Disposable email
Verification codes, trials, downloads, and one-off event sign-ups.
Forwarding alias
Bills, communities, product updates, and services you may need to recover continuously.
Personal inbox
Banking, government services, work, and irreplaceable primary accounts.

Disposable emailfrequently asked questions
How long can I keep a disposable email?
An exact countdown appears after creation. You can extend the address while the task is still active; once it expires, the address and messages are cleared.
Why hasn’t my verification email arrived?
Wait a moment and refresh the inbox, then check that the address is complete. If it still hasn’t arrived, get a new address and resend the message.
Can I use disposable email for important accounts?
We don’t recommend it. Accounts involving payments, identity, or long-term recovery should use an email address you control continuously. Disposable email is better for replaceable, short-term tasks.
